An interview with Thomas Mörth, CEO of LOLYO
and Pia Michel, COO of LegalTegrity
The partnership between LOLYO and LegalTegrity unites two companies that specialise in intuitive and innovative solutions for businesses.
While the LOLYO MACH Employee App revolutionises internal communication and collaboration, LegalTegrity complements this offering with a secure whistleblowing system that meets the requirements of the EU Whistleblower Directive.
In the interview, Thomas Mörth, CEO of LOLYO, speaks with Pia Michel, COO at LegalTegrity, about the reasons for the collaboration, the benefits for customers, and the future developments of the LOLYO employee app.
Pia Michel Herr Mörth, why should companies use LOLYO?
Thomas Mörth: LOLYO is designed to optimise internal communication and collaboration within companies. The employee app makes it easier to reach employees, especially those who don't work at a PC or are based at different locations. We place great importance on breaking down communication barriers. That's why our app is easily accessible and user-friendly, even on private smartphones. Additionally, features like our unique “MITMACH-Booster” (Get Involved Booster) promote motivation and engagement by playfully encouraging employees to actively participate in internal exchanges and rewarding them for their involvement.
Pia Michel What do your customers particularly value about LOLYO?
Thomas Mörth: Our customers particularly praise the intuitive usability of the employee app. This makes it especially attractive for companies with little prior digitalisation experience. Added to this is our personal support – we cater to our customers' individual needs. The MITMACH-Booster is also very popular as it brings appreciation into internal communication, thereby strengthening team cohesion and motivating employees to use the tool regularly and actively engage with it. For example, completed tasks can be rewarded with MITMACH points.
Pia Michel You had your own whistleblowing system in your portfolio. Why was it introduced back then?
Thomas Mörth: The whistleblowing system was a direct response to our customers' requests and the requirements of the EU Whistleblower Directive. It offered employees a secure way to report misconduct within the company – an important step towards greater transparency and compliance.
Pia Michel What prompted you to discontinue your own whistleblower system?
Thomas Mörth: We have decided to concentrate on our core strategy: strengthening internal communication and collaboration. The whistleblower system no longer fit with this focus. Therefore, we have decided to outsource this function to a specialised partner.
Pia Michel How did you go about looking for a new partner?
Thomas Mörth: We conducted comprehensive market research and evaluated various providers. It was important to us to find a partner who meets our customers' requirements and whose solution can be seamlessly integrated into our communication tool.
Pia Michel Why did you choose LegalTegrity?
Thomas Mörth: LegalTegrity impressed us with their high level of professionalism and numerous references. The straightforward integration into our employee app and the system's user-friendliness were particularly important to us. Multilingualism is another plus point, as it facilitates access for all employees – a decisive advantage for our customers.
Pia Michel Why do you recommend changing to LegalTegrity to your clients?
Thomas Mörth: LegalTegrity offers a proven and legally compliant solution that meets all the requirements of the EU Whistleblower Directive. Our customers benefit from a secure, user-friendly platform and a strong partner at their side.
Pia Michel What further developments can your customers expect from LOLYO in the future?
Thomas Mörth: Planned features include AI-powered functions for process automation and a task management tool to facilitate collaboration. Furthermore, we are continuously optimising our existing features, such as the employee referral programme or the employee survey tool, to always offer our users the highest technical standards. Data protection remains a central focus: all new functions will meet the highest security standards.
Pia Michel Thank you very much for the conversation! We are very pleased about the trust and look forward to further developing this partnership together with you.
