Frankfurt-based company contributes to "Home Game for Human Rights" at the Euros
New standards at the Euros
"We are proud to contribute to a fair EURO with our whistleblower software - not only on the pitch, but also in the stadiums and with all companies involved in organising the EURO as a "Home Game for Human Rights"."
Dr. Thomas Altenbach
What happens to the reports?
Incoming reports are evaluated and processed immediately by the law firm Rettenmaier Frankfurt Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB around the clock and forwarded to the necessary parties. Felix Rettenmaier, Partner, emphasises: „Dealing with incoming reports is an important building block for the safety and integrity of the European Championship in Germany. We are pleased to be able to play our part in receiving, assessing and forwarding potential violations of human rights, ethical standards and other legal infringements to the decisive bodies.”.
For fair coexistence
While the work of the referee on the pitch is supported by many other eyes and video evidence, structures are also required off the pitch to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. With LegalTegrity's digital reporting channel, the community of spectators, suppliers, and employees can help ensure that actions are ethical and honest. For respectful interaction amongst each other as well as fair and integral cooperation of all involved companies. One of these companies, for example, is the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund. Matz Mattern, State Managing Director of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund State Association Hesse e.V., emphasises: „At the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund, we are clearly committed to variety and diversity – we are colourful and warmly welcome all visitors to the European Championships. Our goal is to contribute to everyone being able to feel safe(r). After all, values such as freedom, dignity, tolerance, and justice are not only part of sport but also part of our understanding of ourselves.“
The use of a whistleblower system is a clear sign that fair play and the protection of human rights at Euro 2024 are of utmost importance, not only on the pitch but also off it.
